Called me on 12/4/2015 showing Switzerland at call location called again while I was still listening to the first BS.
Got this call yesterday, same as others here have reported. Can't believe that anyone would fall for this scam ... very annoying though!
Caller: said they were the IRS
GOT A CALL ON 12-3-2015.. THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE THE IRS AND THEY WERE FILING A LAWSUIT AGAINST ME. I HAD TO MAKE A CASH WITHDRAWL IN THE NEXT TWO HOURS OR THEY WERE CALLING THE POLICE AND I WOULD BE ARRESTED THAT SAME DAY. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM !!!!!!
They called me on Dec 3, 2015. Same routine: "final notice from IRS, we are filing a lawsuit against you. For details call our department office at 417-396-3116." So I did the internet search and found abundant comments.
Caller: Scam artists claiming to be IRS
Received call from Joplin, Ms. stating they were from the IRS never said who they were trying to contact or reach. Stated that they were filing a lawsuit against me and I needed to contact them immediately at 1-417-396-3116 and discuss the issue. IT'S A TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!
