Called at 7:05 in the morning. Asked about my computer. I kept telling them I was going to be at work in an hour and would let them know about what was going on with my computer then. Kept telling them I wasn't in front of my computer...asked if they were the night crew working in IT...kept them from calling someone else.

Saying he was a Microsoft Technician (god, he even yawned on the line). He said my computer was downloading a virus right now, and that he could prove he was a real Microsoft Tech by providing me my license number when I told him it was a nice try to scam me. I finally hung up when I got bored of hearing him repeating it was a real call.

This number is disconnected. Now I know it is a scam for sure because I typed in the code for private number and called the number twice. Wow, they use a disconnected number to call and screw people. Get a life you assholes!

Certainly a scam. At first no one was talking but I could hear breathing on the other end of the phone. Then this guy with an Indian accent says "Hi, how are you?". I said "I don't know you, don't call here again!" and hung up.

Called said he was from Microsoft and I had a problem on my computer. The quickest way to get them to hang up is to say "Gee thats funny I work for Microsoft too." Boy do they hang up quickly. If they say they work for a different company just tell them you work for that company.

2 calls in the past 2 weeks - the first unanswered - did reverse look-up and thought Springfield Missouri? Second call accidentally answered to no response on the line - immediately hung up. Sometimes you just know it's a scam of some sort.

Received a call an hour ago. The man said that he was working for
Microsoft as a technicien... He did not have my name either my parents. I had problems with the volume of my phone, and it was not easy to understand what he was saying with is accent. He was saying they received alert messages from my computer and that he wanted to correct this. The he said : «go and open your computer» I asked what was not working or what happened to my computer and he did not tell me. Then he asked to open my pc again... This is weird, I said which one ? He answered : «all of them» I told him that one of my pc was open but the other one was not. While talking with him, I made a research on the phone number. He said that it would not work if all the computers were not open... I told him that one pc needed updates and that it would be long to wait. I asked him what do you want me to do, he said press your CTRL button on your keyboard. I said, I am not sure (again) Then, he hung up. Duration of call 7 minutes.

Caller: Not quite sure of the country, but from Microsoft customer support

Just got a call from this number (feb 22nd 2016) dude with heavy middle eastern accent. Telling me he was from Microsoft, saying they detected critical problems over last few weeks. I asked what problems, he said they are hidden problems.. I said Im familiar with computers and to tell me what errors he had found. He asked me to just turn on my computer and he could fix.. I knew right away it was a scam and called him on it. Said Microsoft does not call people to ask for remote access and that this was a scam. Told him i'd be reporting him to RCMP and CSIS.. He countered ok if you want to have problems go ahead and he hung up on me. Lol

scammer called claiming to be from Microsoft Support saying we had a problem with our PC and wanting remote access to fix it.
Microsoft support never does unsolicited cold calls and we use Linux on all our servers.
Oups yet another stupid scammer trying to screw people over
