Some credit card service - recording about interest rates changing. Selected to talk, waited for 5 caller ahead of me (yea right) and when I asked the agent the name of the company they hung up. Wanted to report them as let them know I'm on the no call list.
calls & leaves no message several times a day
"Lower your interest rate on your credit cards with the promotional code mailed to you last week"..I asked him to remail the data and I would consider it later."No!..this offer is going to expire mam you have to do this now.So how many cards do you have currently?." I told him if he doesn't already have this information then I shouldn't be talking to him. "See we don't represent one company,we represent many.And our information is only updated every 90 days.If you don't do this today we are going to raise your interest rates on all your cards". I said; do what you gotta,I'll consolidate all my bills into my mortage.He said,"but that is bad for your credit mamm". I then told him I had the vet on hold ..my dog is eldery and very ill and I need to put him to sleep today.I told him now is not a good time,I'm upset and can't do this now.(which was the truth).He said ,"ohhhhh..but mam do you want us to raise your interest rates?". I then told him "I AM UNDER DURESS".i TOLD HIM NO.He told me I didn't have to be rude after he repeated the word duress a few times and I hung up on him.
I was called over 4 times and finally when I answered it said press 9 if you want to lower your interest rates. I did press it and was connected to someone who would not tell me the name or his name. I asked how did you get my number numerous times and he just side stepped the question. I told him that i am on the do not call list and he still would not tell me how he got my number. I asked for a supervisor and he said he was one so I asked if someone was higher then him there and he hung up.
