This number has called me dozens of times, at all hours, in the last few days. So I finally answered. I got a recorded message, from a very cheerful woman, telling me that my business had been approved for a business loan. I had the option to be removed from their call list, or speak with an agent.
Now, I don't own a business, but I'm delighted to know that I qualify for a loan. So I elected to speak with an agent. After being on hold for a few minutes, a woman named "Cynthia" picked up the line. She said, "Cash services. Do you want to get a business loan?". So I said, "Yes, I am very interested! What is the name of your company?"
She seemed irritated when she replied with, "Cash Services."
So I asked her how she found out about my business and got my number. She said it was through a marketing agency that trades and sells business info.
I asked her which of my businesses qualified for the loan, the poultry grooming business or the Justin Bieber Fan Club business.
We must have had a bad connection, because the call dropped at this point. I can't imagine she would have hung up after hearing that Cash Services could finance a loan for one of those businesses.
