- The Truth About Warranty Help Desk
I received three robo-calls on my sprint cell phone from this company today, telling me that the warranty on my vehicle was about to expire. All three calls were from different numbers. I have been getting the same robo-calls several times a week for months. I repeatedly wait for a live telemarketer, explain that my car is too old and has too many miles to warranty and ask to be removed from their calling list. I call back the number listed on the caller ID and usually it is busy. Today I got through to one of the caller ID numbers and got a recorded message from an elderly sounding lady who sounded quite frustrated as she said " Please stop calling this number. I have not been calling anyone from my phone. Someone has stolen my caller ID and is using it to send recorded messages. Please stop calling this number."
Today I spoke to a young sounding telemarketer who said she was from Southern California and calling for Warranty Service Desk Inc. She could not give me a call back number or a physical address supposedly for security purposes.
I'm fed up. Anyone having similar problems should report it to the FCC as I have done. I suggest that they then fax a hand written complaint and attach all these blog pages to the FCC at:
866-418-0232
Here is another complaint blog on the same company:

Lots of pages to fax, but someone needs to wake up the FCC to these guys.
