Medical alert type monitoring system.
The man identifies himself as John and says he is calling to set up service of the in-home medical alert system that we ordered. This man has called on a weekly if not biweekly basis for several weeks. I have attempted to be kind and tell him we did not order such a system and to please take us off of his calling list. He will not quit talking to listen to my request. Sadly I only kept track of the last two calls from him. I have attempted to call the number back to request we be taken off of their calling list. A recording states it's not a working number. The call comes up as a call from Cleveland Tennessee.

The advertisement claimed that a emergency device had been purchased. It was only when I protested did I realize this was not a person, but a synthesized message. Obviously, I did not purchase such a device, but it was misleading in implying one had been purchased and that it would be shipped if I pressed the #1 to refuse the shipment was the #5. I simply disconnected the call because I did not want this "robo" call to know it had reached a person.
