Got the same messages, refuses to give information after asking multiple times and the spelling and grammar got progressively worse. I am also a pet care business in MN.

I just got the same text - I just started a pet sitting business in Champlin MN. When he said he wanted to send a cashier's check ahead of time I knew it was a scam.

I just got the same weird message in Saint Paul Minnesota. Said his name is Thomas Reed and he wanted dog walking for his deaf daughter.

Got a text yesterday as well asking about my services to walk his daughters 3 yorkies. Said his name is Thomas Reed and told me his daughter is moving here for "deaf sign language classes." Couldn't find him anywhere online. Number appears to be coming from Santa Monica but no records of a man by that name. He provided an address without a house number for where she is living. I messaged him that I have had people misrepresent themselves in the past and asked for more information about himself and his daughter (why would she be moving here with 3 dogs for ASL classes? It's Monroe!!!). He ignored it and sent a message this morning asking why he hasn't heard from me. Very pushy and demanding.

I got one today also. I'm in Ann Arbor, MI, same story. they can't spell or use even close to proper english so that's always a tip-off.
