An unwanted call from this Los Angeles VOIP number arrived today, in violation of the Do Not Call law. When the answering machine picked up, a recorded message touted the Home Affordable Finance Program.

The perpetrator has been identified as Samuel Halper, who coincidentally has the same address as Lobbyists Offices of GRW, 10866 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles 90024 and almost the same phone number. This scam lender also places robocalls from (424) 901-8430. According to the company profile, "the company's line of business includes providing public relations services."

If the Home Affordable Finance Program is a customer, it should demand its money back for doing such a poor job. Avoid these fraudsters!
