Yes they called too. The former owner of my cellphone number had student loans outstanding, so the collection agency probably sold their list of unpaid loan telephone contacts to this guy.
Called about some "program" for student loan forgiveness. I'm thinking it's a scam since I don't have any current student loans and you'd think if there was such a program, they would have a database of folks who have outstanding student debt.
