Someone name "Victor" who left a message claiming to be looking for an unnamed relative of mine.

Got a call from this number by a guy named Victor. Same scam as written above, saying he’s trying to track down a relative of mine. Nice try. Total BS.

Just got a call today at my job. My first time talking to this Alice woman and she started immediately being pushy and making threats saying she would file the debt as willfull refusal. I had to take her number and call her back. When I did, less than 15 minutes later... I told her it was my work phone and I was on another call when she called before. She insisted she didnt care and all she needs to know is VISA or MC. She tried to shame me about not paying the debt. She ranted about me not answering my phone... and not responding to letters. When she read the 2 addresses, they were wrong... Then I realized the debt wasnt actually mine. So she went on to accuse me of illegally subletting an apt. She refused details on the debt... only gave the $ amount. I still dont know what it is for.... and she refused to let me speak to anyone else who might be less hostile and more professional. In the end she hung up the phone bc I refused to give her a credit card number. I asked her for info so I could verify the debt and try to resolve the issue with the person who actually incurred the debt. She actually complained about having to call ppl over debts and tried to insult my character.

This was a call from an Alice Cook. She talks over you, will not let you explain your side of a debt, very abusive and rude. I personally am suing this company and their client.

Alex Cook with Genesis Credit Agency. Called my workplace looking for my husband even though neither of us ever gave out that phone number. The only way she could have found that out is by stalking our social media accounts as that information was not yet appearing on our credit reports. Creepy.

Called twice asking to verify employment for someone who has never worked for our company in the history of the business. When I inform her of this fact she becomes verbally harassive.
