Reduced credit card interest rate. I pressed 1 to be connected to a live person. I asked the person why they were calling my number when it was on a do-not-call list and the person instantly hung up on me.

The call I received was pre-recorded and claimed it was a 2nd notice to lower my credit card debt. It gave me the option to press "1" if I'd like to speak to a representative. After I immediately pressed the number, I got a person on the line instantly. I then hesitated to speak for 2-3 seconds when the person presented himself as "Mike". Due to my hesitation, "Mike" disconnected the line mmediately.

Offering to lower rates for credit cards

I was wakened from a nice deep sleep this morning to another call from this same number after I had already had it removed weeks ago from their "no call" list.

The woman was very hard to understand. I asked her what credit card she was talking about? She said that she could not give out that information because she needed to verify me as the account holder, I asked her how I could verify myself when she didn't even know my name? She got angry, told me that she wanted to lower my interest rates on my credit cards and listed visa, master card, ect.... that I should already know my account number since I WAS THE ONE WHO CALLED IN ! What ? I then said, I didn't call you, you called me !! She then hung up. When I called back, I got a recording thanking me for my return call where I could remove my number once again but where you will NEVER get a human.

Recorded message offering to help lower credit card interest rates. When I chose the option to speak to someone, they told me a little about what they were about. I told them they shouldn't be calling me. Then they hung up.
