I received a solicitation call for a home security system. I live in San Diego and am on the National Do Not Call List, yet this company called me, anyway. The recording said I could press 9 to be put on their do-not-call list, so I pressed 9. I received ANOTHER CALL TWO MINUTES LATER. Caller ID identified the caller as "SERVICE CALL" with the phone number 1-425-658-8904. I tried to call back that number but got a recording that said, "You have reached a disconnected number belonging to Pacific Telecommunications Group. This number is not in service. If you feel you have reached this number in error, please hang up and retry your number. Thank you." If I find out what company this is, I plan to report them to the applicable authorities.
