Got a call from this number. I did not answer and they left no message. Funny thing is that my caller ID said FRAUD LIKELY for the name. LOL
So I can only guess that somehow it has been flagged by a higher power.

Male caller with heavy accent asking if I needed pain/arthritis medication. I have received calls from other numbers (Michigan) with the same theme. They seem to know some personal infomration and offer to send me medication that the FDA hasn't approved - this is illegal and a scam.

The Texas Senior Medicare Patrol has received several complaints about Medicare scam calls from 434-212-1101, which came up on Caller ID as “Scottsville, VA”. The LIVE female caller says that she is calling from the “Healthcare Assistance Service,” and is offering offering free braces (which Medicare will pay for) and pain creams and medications. THIS IS A SCAM. MEDICARE WILL NEVER CALL YOU. Report these scams to the Federal Trade Commission (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov) , Medicare Office of the Inspector General (https://oig.hhs.gov/fraud/report-fraud/index.asp) and your state's Senior Medicare Patrol (1-877-808-2468, or https://www.smpresource.org). DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR MEDICARE OR SOCIAL SECURITY IDS. Check your Medicare Summary Notices (MSNs). If you see that Medicare has been billed for a brace or other durable medical equipment or prescriptions that neither you nor your doctor has ordered, report that information immediately to your state's Senior Medicare Patrol (1-877-808-2468, or https://www.smpresource.org).

Calls have increased the last few weeks.Phone set on NOT accepting calls. We do NOT know anybody from Scottsville VA nor in VA period & have NOT ask anybody to call. The other ones calling, we called back,they are local some of them, when we try to call them back it says the phone # is not a working #. So whoever this is may be porting these calls to different #'s & are scams. They want info & end result $$. If you answer it ONLY confirms the # is real. We have blocked those 2,yet more are coming in. Anybody that pays to find out who these ppl are, well that could also be a scam & racking up calls for $$. You can NOT trust any caller you do not know or did NOT ask to call you. These ppl need to be in prison for a LONG time & that is the ONLY way to stop them completely!

This number called a business asking for an employee, when told employee was not available and I would take a message, caller Dean stated he was with Health care assistance and started going over what I can only assume to be private medical information he wanted me to verify. I stopped Dean and told him that he should not be giving out private medical information to any party other than the intended patient and I was hung up on.
