Medical Alert device. This was a recording, not a person so telling them to stop calling is not an option. Made claims that medical alert device had been ordered and paid for. Attempts to call the number left on my phone call 434-338-6817) result in a "this number not in service" recording.

Emergency home system wanting to deliver something I did not order. The person would NOT stop talking. And I've received calls from this # almost every day for several weeks. Did not save all the times.

They said they were from the "shipping department" calling about my medical alert that they wanted to ship me. I have never contacted ANY medical alert company, because I am able-bodied and in my early 40s. I have certainly never ordered one. Plus it was a live person, but he just kept on with his spiel no matter what I said--even when I said they had a wrong number and that I was on the do-not-call registry. Finally I hung up on him.

I have received an almost identical call in the last couple of weeks, but I didn't make a record of it.

Recorded call saying "This is John from the shipping department.." and goes on to say someone has paid for a device similiar to the "Help, I have fallen and can not get up" . The message plays out like "let me check my records (slight pause and then), Yes, it's paid for so you just need to call". I have received at least 3 other calls calls from this "business", two left as messages on my answering device, and at least one other that I answered, but I did not record the dates and times. It is a recording so you can do nothing to interrup, so I just hang up. One message that was left had no identifying number on caller ID. This morning's call had the Out of Area listing with 434-338-6817 (also listed below). I have never listened to the end, so I cannot provide the Advertiser info requested In #6 below
