Called to lower my credit card interest. I DON'T EVEN HAVE A CREDIT CARD. When I pressed "1" to talk to a rep, I told the guy on the phone that I wanted to be taken off their call list because I don't have a credit card. The guy hung up on me.
Reports online all link this # to card member services scam. I've gotten a call from same scam on my cell every day this week each from a different #. Checking web has traced back to the same criminals each time.

I am on the do-not-call list. I have received several of these calls this year. The prerecorded message said something like this: "You may qualify to lower the interest rate on your credit card account." The only thing is, I don't have a credit card. That tells me this is a complete scam. They said to press 1 to speak with an operator. Someone answered. I said why am I receiving a call. I do not have a credit card. They gave me a speech about lowering rates. I asked to not receive any more calls. There was a long pause, then they hung up. It was overall very unprofessional and I think someone is trying to scam people to steal their credit card number.
