They left a message on my phone saying that they are the IRS and they have opened a case file against me with a lawsuit. I knew it was BS

Have been called several times by this number saying the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to call them back. The IRS will NOT call you...they will send you an official letter!!! THIS IS A SCAM. Don't give anyone your information.

Received 4 calls today leaving a message saying that the IRS (specifically said the internal revenue service) is filing a lawsuit against me. It is a robotic voice saying they have been trying to reach "you" and to return the call immediately. SCAM

Said that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I work at an accounting office, the IRS will NEVER call you. DO NOT GIVE ANYONE ON THE PHONE YOUR INFO. The IRS only sends letters.
Scam. Said I was being sued by the IRS and should call them immediately.
(I am being sued while I hold my IRS refund check). OK!! Did not call them back.
