Pre-recorded message stating my credit card was eligible for a lower interest rate and to press 1 to connect to an operator. I pressed 1 to connect with an operator and after listening to a lot of background noise for several minutes someone finally came to the phone. They told me my credit cards were eligible for a lower interest rate & when I asked who they were affiliated with and what company they were calling on behalf of, they said they worked with Chase, Bank of America, & Wells Fargo. They asked me if I owed more than $3,000 and when I said no, they hung up. I reported this to Chase and they said they are aware of a scam such as this going around. The phone number on my caller ID was 440-617-5620. I just hope they are stopped before innocent people suffer after handing over their credit number numbers to these people.

Lower credit card rate. Message implied it was from a current service provider which is not true. Likely scam.
