Reported that they had allegedly sent courtesy messages to my house about lowering all credit cards to a lower APR as low as 6% providing I had ?,000.00 dollars in debt and one card in good standing.

Since I pay my bills monthly this is not applicable to me.

As reported by someone before, they just called and when I picked up they indicated to press 1 if I want to speak with a representative (I always do as I hate cowards) regarding some debts to my credit cards. THAT #1 pressing seemingly present the danger of having my telephone nr. connected with some huge long distance calls as just pressing #1 was enough for them to disconnect me afterwards. Obviously this 443-602-3717 is a theft, identity theft, a criminal. Can you get them?

Lower interest rates on credit card balances. I do not have and have never had an outstanding balance. Cards are paid in full every month. This is the 16th call from Card Holder Services since 11-8-2011. I have filed 11 previous complaints on this business and attempted to opt out numerous times. They hang up as soon as they detect any such effort.

The caller called claiming to be a part of Card Member Services. I believe they are not and that it was an attempt at fraud. He said he could not remove the number from his system and refused to transfer me to a supervisor.

I then called 1-877-999-3872, which I found at https://www.cardmemberservices.com/index.jsp?pg_name=ccpmapp/cms/shared/page/contact_us, and they transferred me to a department within Chase Bank (not Card Member Services).

I'm not sure what is going on here, but it certainly seems like fraud.
