We believe UHC gets our # from United Health Care where we are registered w/ them as a private car provider. Calls don't get any resolution due to long wait times which when you click to see if you're connected you get disconnected.
This is legit. I contacted United Health Care and it is part of their House Call program. Not everyone who has UHC is going to be "flagged" to be a participant in this program; it depends on your health needs.
I receive these calls several times a day. I just called the number left on my voicemail. It really was United Healthcare House Calls. I informed them that I did not want to receive any more of these calls and have been placed on their Do Not Call list. The calls are being made to Medicare patients that are now part of their PPO insurance. I told them that I was satisfied with my doctors and nurses and did not wish to participate in their House Calls program.
They say they are from United Healthcare, but the number is not one of theirs. When you call the 800# for UHC, they tell you they didn't call.
Person wanted to arrange house call from United Health Care. Said person to come was name Sandra Brown. I had actually been called earlier from U.HC regarding home visit so thought it was legit call. However, this number wasn't listed with any of UHC numbers that I had on file, so I googled.
