A voice identifying herself as "Diane" promotes a carpet-cleaning service, and promises to clean your hallway free AFTER you listen to her entire robocall
message. You are told to press "1" to sign up. When you do, you reach a live person with a foreign accent who says "Carpet Cleaning." When on FOUR occasions I asked that my number be removed and that I was on the Federal as well as NY State Do-not-call lists, the person quickly hangs up. Interestingly, last night when the last of these calls came in (they've been going on for about one year), the number 458 201-0467 disappeared from my TV screen and was replaced by "Eugene, Oregon" -- nothing more.
