called and identified themselves as Lucy then hangs up!

I was called and nobody was on the other end of the line. Within minutes I received a text message from a 1210100001 number. The text contained a dodgy tiny url link and included the senders email address too.

Here are the details (I don't recommend following the links unless you can protect your computer or phone)

called 30 min. ago and wanted ssn for free alarm system, totally id theft.

I agree. They are harvesting information to steal from you: your phone number, SSN, etc. They need to be stopped! I blocked them from my phone, but others will be affected.
