After reading the comments below I called the number back. A foreign man answered claiming to be a federal agent and I said, so i hear you are a scam and he told me to "F off then"

Called me as well. Left a message on my machine with all the lien, arrest warrant crap. I searched it and saw all the comments and decided to call back and pretend they called about my computer (read windows post for that idea) the Indian guy said "Computer? This is the IRS and you are talking to an officer of the IRS. I am officer Turner." So they really are really trying to sell the scam by impersonating federal agent. Don't be fooled.

I received a call saying exactly everything everyone else is complaining about. They requsted 500.00 payment. Is this a scam?

Left am message saying they put a lien on my property and have a warrent out for my arrest. Scared me at first, but then realized the # is from Texas. I have commited no crimes and have always paid my taxes. Glad and relieved to know it's a scam!

They called as Windows security once and then the same guy called later as the IRS. I called them back and they answered as the IRS and I asked about Windows and they started asking how they could help me fix my computer. I wasted as much of their time as I could. The foreign guy hands you over to a better English speaker when he's in trouble and that guy hangs up when he stops making sense.
You know how people on the internet ask for your phone number and then won't stop calling you? Give them this number.
That way the call centers can constantly call each other and leave us alone. Register for every bogus prize you can and give this number to everyone.

469-607-2340 - I have already gone thru this one time and they scared me to death - so this time when a foreigner that I could not hardly understand called and said this is the IRS - I said I know this is a scam been through it before - don't call my number again and he still wanted to argue - end button - bam.
