How can we stop this scam???

Man called my number and asked if I received Medicare. I said "yes" and he began a spiel about a "pain management clinic" but he did not speak English well. When I asked him to identify himself, he became agitated and shouted "YOU ARE INTERRUPTING ME!" and promptly hung the phone up in my ear.

These people are a scam - representing themselves as under medicare. They just wast to get your permission to send you stuff you probably cant use and bill medicare for it.

This call was automatically blocked. And after reading the other comments, I'm glad it was and that I didn't answer it. When will these scams stop!? And I want to know HOW these people get our cell phone numbers!?

a person trying to take advantage of elderly people who are disabled. they have called repeatedly trying to get any info about my mothers medicare insurance. i have repeatedly asked, them told them to stop calling period. they have not stopped, and as a matter of fact, they now call at least 3 days a week regularly. sometimes many times a day. when a man answers they immediately hang up, but when my elderly disabled mother answers they try to get her insurance information EVERY time. it appears to be a company attempting to commit insurance fraud repeatedly. i thought that was against the law? my advice is to be carefull when or if you are unlucky enough to have the misfortune of receiving calls from this number.
