Acted like they were some travel company opening a new reservation center in this city. Offered a prize of two round trip airline tickets for 60-90 minutes of our time at their "celebration". Terrible English, yet had names like McManus and crap.

Had calls from her in the past, twice tonight, & woke me up, I gave her a real good, & loud cussing, & told her not to call my god damn number anymore.

Called me twice this evening, & woke me up telling me she is from Southwest Airlines. She has called me a few times in the past also. I have told her I was on national do not call list, & not to call again.
This time I was particularly pissed off because she woke me up twice in two hours, & I unloaded on her. I told her, "get off my god damn phone, & don't call my number anymore you fucking bitch".
I'm not as nice as the rest of you people, & she said aaahhhhhaaaa, & hung up. Guess she hasn't been screamed at like that before.

Same exact thing happened to me today
I hung up...i work for southwest so i knew immediately this was a scam.

Received call on 6/29/15 saying I had won two tickets to something. I have no idea what because I could not understand what they were saying. The sound kept cutting out like the call was being muted. Caller said name was Adriana Lopez, but had a heavy accent that was definitely NOT Hispanic. I kept demanding that she tell me where she got my number, but she just kept talking over me. Finally, I said "stop talking" about three times and told her the number is on the Do Not Call Registry. She said sorry and hung up. I reported the number to the FCC.

They told me I was invited to a Delta airlines event because I was a "special customer." I told her that I have never flown on Delta and that I was not interested. She asked me "How can you not be interested when you didn't even let me finish." I said "trust me, I know better than to believe you, please take me off your list." She hung up.

Just as the others have said, a woman with a heavy accent calls me, maybe once a month... and always tries to tell me about a promotional special trip or something I qualify for. I've never understood what company she is calling from or what exactly she's trying to "sell" me... but I kid you not, it's always the exact same woman - very distinct voice and accent. Drives me crazy because every single time she has called me, I have politely asked her to take me off their call list and stop contacting me, and as SOON as I ask her that, she always hangs up. Sometimes she would argue with me a little first and say “you haven’t even heard what I’m trying to offer.” Since the exact same woman has called me several times, I've gotten to the point where it angers me to receive her calls. I started thinking maybe someone is pranking me, until I just looked up her number and saw that others have had the exact same experience. When I call her number back, my phone says the number doesn't exist/can't be reached. Today, I finally made a point to block her number on my phone, so hopefully it works and I never have to deal with her again. I have no idea what type of scam they're trying to pull (I’m very curious), but it's most definitely a scam.

I gave her hell, She barley spoke english i told her she would have to pick me up.... asked her if she could bring me breakfast cause i was hungry..."No i dont need airline tickets but can you bring me food?"

Woman caller with an Indian accent called to say that I had been invited to a Southwest Airlines grand opening event in Dallas and that I would receive two round-trip tickets anywhere in the U.S. I told her no thank you and click, the line went dead. She did not say goodbye so that tells you something right there. I hope Southwest Airlines knows about these phone calls and does something about it.

Somehow won 2 Southwest Airline tickets

Same deal as everyone else. I magically won 2 southwest tickets as long as I attend some presentation or something. Told them I don't live in Dallas anymore and they apologized and hung up.

A woman just called claiming to be from Southwest airlines, and made this long speech about me winning round trip vip tickets to anywhere in the us. she spoke very broken english, I could barely understand her. I hung up after she asked me if I was wondering what the catch was. Anyway. This is definitely a scam.

Second call. First call claimed to be Southwest Airlines. This tone they used Southern Journey as their name, same scam. Got an address to their so-called redemption center
