Bozo SCAMMERS, BLOCK THEM !
An unwanted call from this College Park, GA landline arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this routinely while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
Posters report the caller is someone like "Donna with Card Services" who induces the victim to reveal his/her credit card number. Intelligent people know this is one of many nationwide scams and hang up or (better yet) LET THEIR ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THE CALL.
