I have received several calls like this and they are always BS. If you did owe the IRS any money then they would send you a registered letter.

Same as Rosey, IRS/Tax issues - this fellow said his name was Richard and started in on his spiel. I told him he was full of horseshit - he tried to talk over me but eventually hung up on me

Same as previous comment, I hate scammers.

They told me that I owed money to the IRS and that the government sent me information to give me one last chance to make things right. I never received anything in the mail regarding this as Im always on time with my taxes. It's also a recording/automated thing. Then asked me if I owe taxes and I said no. Then they said I don't qualify and hung up on me. This number is a scam and I believe it's just to get your money.
