They called me about a recent er visit I had. Named the Hospital I received care from. Told me they needed my insurance "group" number. I told them they should already have it since I had to upload my insurance card when I was checked in. They said they did not have that and I was not giving it to them again. I hung up.
Caller: Local ER doctors
Called saying they were calling from the hospital I was recently in. About "workers comp". I never filed or indicated it was a workers comp issue. Asked for my insurance number, when I said i didn't have it on me they said they'd call back later and hung up.
Caller: "Local ER doctors"
They asked for SSN for medical insurance verification, as well as home address. When I would not give it to them, they said they will send the medical bill to my house. Then they hung up.
