This was a prerecorded message. It sated that according to the department of transportation I am paying too much for my auto insurance. To speak to a representative to lower my rates press X to be removed from their calling list press X.
This to me is illegal in multiple ways:
1. This was a prerecorded un-solicited call to a mobile phone
2. They are using a Federal Agency to solicit their agenda
I would like to know if the Department of Transportation (DOT) is willfully distributing driver vehicle records and if they have record of what I pay for my Auto Insurance. In other words how does this company know from the DOT what Im paying for my Auto Insurance?
