No one on line when I answered.

Don't know if this organization is legit or not but if they are.. how stupid of them when knowing how many scams there are out these days! Should not be calling anyone for fundraising especially people on the do-not-call list which I am!

They have called me numerous times. I have had so many vehicle warranty calls and Patrolman fund raiser calls I do not remember which is which. They called me at the hospital, at the cancer center, I have been harassed by so many telemarketers this past two weeks. 50 telemarketing phone calls in one 8 day period. This new phone is supposed to block these automatically. I have no problem testifying. I was unable to call them back. They disconnected as soon as I explained that I was a retired police officer with cancer.

Calling for donations for a never heard of charity.

Call came to my cell phone today about 17:30 from 501-406-0008. Located in Arkansas, caller was soliciting donations for the National Patrolman's Foundation. Wanted my address so they could send me an envelope. I politely declined and hung up. Googled the foundation....not existent, at least they don't have a web site. As others have indicated, sounds like a scam.

They called me, too. I never provide any of my financial information over the telephone to a perfect stranger. With all of the scams out there, anyone who does is asking for trouble. Whenever I advise a so-called "charity" of this fact, the caller hangs up on me without another word. No reputable charity would behave so rudely.

Outreach California did not leave a message on the answering machine.
