2 day cruise in exchange for participation in a "30 second survey" about "Our Nation's debt crisis". Note that this call constituted an offer for a commercial transaction, a product or service of value in consideration of performing a service. This was not a political survey or activity that would be protected under the Do Not Call legislation.

Claimed they were taking a survey (an allowed DNC exemption) and if I participated, I would be given a free 2 person, 2 night cruise to the Bahamas if I simply picked up the gratuities and port-of-call tax. (No legitimate survey I have taken has promised such compensation.) They required a credit card number to charge the PoC tax to. I doubt this is a legitimate survey; I believe it is a scam to gain access to credit card numbers using a loophole in the Do-Not-Call law as a cover.
