BLOCKED CALLS FROM MY CELL; RECEIVING CALL AT WORK, QUESTIONED THE LADY ABOUT HER EMPLOYEE ID NUMBER. SHE GAVE ME 73696. I TOLD HER I WENT TO THE BANK TODAY, AND THIS IS A SCAM!

Received calls on my cell and office phone! This is a SCAM....NOT WELLS FARGO...give out no INFORMATION!

This number is NOT Wells Fargo. It is a scam (confirmed by our bank Wells Fargo). They will tell you they need you to confirm your account and SSN. They also told us our account was overdrawn at the maximum allowance. If you have given your information to them close your accounts and start a fraud investigation immediately! If they contact you and press for information you can file a complaint with the FTC. If you are still questioning wither they are real or not our personal banker at Wells Fargo has told us to ask the dept. they work in and tell them you will call their dept. back on the 1-800-to-wells number. (They will try to talk you out of it)
Luckily we were in the middle of fraud and were on the alert, otherwise they were so convincing we would have happily handed our info over. Especially when they told us we had suspicious purchases on our account.
The only thing that sucks is Wells Fargo says they have no way or reporting fraud when it happens over the phone, only e-mail and letter. Doesn't sound right to me.

THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!! This is NOT Wells Fargo Overdraft department, or any affiliation with Wells Fargo! This number has been reported to their fraud department and they are looking into this scam. These people are based in Oregon and Wells Fargo has NO facilities in Oregon. These people are trying to have you verify your phone number when they call you, and when you tell them they have reached the wrong number, they want you to verify your number, which is the number they just called you on. Why would you verify a number they just called you on? DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!! They are targeting the young, innocent, and older people for their social security numbers and account numbers. DON"T FALL INTO THEIR TRAP!! REPORT THEM!!

This number is a scam and very harassive. I've spoken with with Wells Fargo representitives that have confirmed and advised not to give any information to them.

i keep getting calls from this 12 digit number - sometimes more then once a day - its very annoying - i just blocked the numer but im not sure if the block will work since its 12 digits instead of 10 digits

This number calls everyday, many times a day. They do not leave a message so I do not pick up. This is not on my list of numbers so its nobody I know. Is this not some form of harassment?

Calls day and night 24/7 weekends included, noone speaks, no messages left.
