Just got one of these calls. Have been getting them for about 2 months now. How come no one is doing anything to stop them or warn unsuspecting naive (sp) people. Its is true that a live person tries to get your personal information, and when you call back it has a national do not call registry recording. I am furious I have reported this to the FTC is there anywhere else I should be reporting it. I will as I am tired of this.

Claimed to be card services and could reduce my annual percentage rate for good history. But wanted me to give them my CC number and experation date. HOw did they get my cell phone. Would not provide numbers. I said I was not comfortable with that and they hung up on me.... SCAM!!!

Claimed to be the National Do Not Call Registry.. SCAM!!

Called me on my cell phone sayinig I had credit card issues. For one thing I have no credit card issues or credit card debt & no one has my cell number. Have no idea how they got my number. Try to ask them NOT to call me & remove my number as it is on the national do not call directory. They hang up on you.

claim to lower rates through a new stimulus package, do not believe them

I have received this call 3 times now - same scam every time. Recorded message at frst, then when I opt to speak with a live operator and ask to be removed, who they are, etc...they hang up on me. Suspicious much?

These people called and said they could lower my interest rate, they had sent me a letter in the mail and this was the final follow up. When I refused to give them my credit card account number, they called me a b*tch, c*nt, Wh*re and then hung up on me. Do not give them any information

scam that claims to lower credit card rates. if you tell them you are on the do not call lost they hang up. when they call again and you tell them to put you on their do not call list they hang up as you are telling them.

This is a false number. The call I received was an automated recording that claimed to be able to lower my credit card interest rate due to the new Stimulus Package. I was told to press 1 if I was interested, so I did. Upon pressing 1, I was connected to a live representative who asked if I reached her due to the lower credit interest rate based on the Stimulus Package (a strange question to get). I said yes, and then asked her which credit card company she was calling on behalf of. She immediately hung up on me.

When I called the number listed by the caller ID on my cell phone that had been called, i got the national Do Not Call registry.

This is obviously a scam.
