I had requested a life insurance quote. I started receiving calls from (503) 741-2048 ad the caller ID said "Astoria, Oregon". They called about 15 times a day but never left a message. I finally called it back and discovered that it was for the life insurance quote I requested.

Robo call 3 times with an hour, claiming they were the IRS, and that they were going to sue me. Per the IRS website, they will not threaten to sue you over the phone. And I'm sure much less via a voicemail or robocall.
