They also called again on 4/19/2012 at 5:53 PM.
The person I spoke to tried to tell me that Equifax referred me to them to lower credit card svc. They are using different phone numbers each time. 1st time call 503-902-8479 and 2nd time from
971-373-2989. I ask to be taken off their call list and they hang up on me.

Of course it's Rachel/Heather/Stacy/Other Lying Name from Cardholder or Cardmember Services or Other Lying Scam PITA. The complaints to the FTC do work somewhat in that they have taken court action against people connected to these calls. The question is whether the equipment and set-up is being used by more than one group or if the group the FTC caught is violating a federal court injunction. The only immediately gratifying payback against these turdballs I've been able to come up with is to pretend to be interested and set the phone down while I look for my credit cards. At least I can go back to doing what I was doing while taking some satisfaction in tying them up for a few minutes. My record is 16 minutes, 45 seconds.

It was an automated call and I held on to speak with someone. The call dropped before I spoke with a live person.
