Someone calls and says they are a Senior Tax Officer for my area and they are assigned to my file. They proceed to say it looks like I still have a tax balance. Their name changes with each call. This one was Tom. He said if I would give him a call, he could work to help me get it settled. Funny part: I don't owe anything to the IRS. Another BIG funny thing: My sister-in-law was an auditor for the IRS for 40 years. This is a BIG SCAM and NOT the IRS.
