Same story different number a computer message saying this is Ann for Account Services their is a new government program that can lower your interest rates on your credit cards. It's a scam.

They wanted to lower my credit card interest rates. I've received several of these calls over the last few weeks. I don't carry a balance so I only hit #1 to be removed from their list. They've said they got my number from my credit card company. I ask to be removed and they hang up.

I get these calls ALL the time but not always from this number, sometimes I get them from 609-227-4849 (most recently 3 days ago). It always starts off as an automated message stating there is nothing wrong with your credit card and offering reduced interest rates. I used to hang up or press 2 to be taken off the call list but that never does any good nor does it seem to do any good that I have my number registered on the Do Not Call National Registry either! Now, I've started pressing 1 to speak to a live operator and when they answer I scream as loud as I can for them to take me off their list. Today when this person called I was at my office so I politely asked them to take me off their call list and he told me he didn't have to take me off any list. Next I'm getting an air horn and I'm going to use it when they answer. This is absolutely ridiculous, I have filed previous complaints... still nothing is being done... why can't you make them STOP?!?!?!
