I believe this group MAY be affiliated with Asset Recovery Associates...both places have been calling and make similar threatening allegations, including one message from a lawyer. Sadly I fell for this scam a couple of months ago because, truth be told, I do have some old debt out there that was never paid. I got scared that they were going to charge me with "theft by deception" and I would lose my job. And now they are calling again leaving messages saying the same thing. They claim in my case to be the United Restituion Group with the state of Iowa. I moved away from Iowa a year and a half ago. The lawyer who left me a message was pretty loose with info and claimed it was from a bounced check from a VERY old checking account...like, more than 8 years since I closed it. And seemed unaware that I no longer lived in Iowa even though my address has been changed with the post office...

They keep calling my work number trying to get my bank info stating that I owe for a payday loan from 2010. I have asked for them to send me paperwork but they refuse.

They have been calling my cell phone, my moms cell phone, my dads cell phone and my parents home phone number. Saying my dad owe money on a payday loan from 2009. Saying that the checks he wrote to pay off the loan bounced, and that he owes over $3000.00. They call every like 10 seconds on all of our phones. I called them back and told them I want record of this before we send any money to them and the lady seems to get angry and starts yelling telling me that they already sent the information, which they didn't. Then she tells me that in order for her to talk to me she need the last 4 digits of my dads SSN, and that she can't talk to me until she has that. I told her since she is calling my cell phone and I am listed a reference that she can talk to me. Needless to say my story is just like everyone else. Get the call, tell them I want records and they fight with me on it.

I got a call this morning, saying they are from United Restoration group thru the state of Minnesota and they have a claim against me,we don't even live in Minnesota anymore. It's just like the IRS scam,they call from numbers in the U.S.but they are from the Domican Rep. and there is nothing the Police can do to them,so don't fall for there scam.

I Have Saved There Voice mail. The Voice Sounds Threatining. The Person on The Phone Sounds Cold Soul less And Frigging Downright RUDE. I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FCC, ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE. IM SERIOUSLY DONE WITH THIS. AHUT THOSE MOTHER EFFERS DOWN!!!!!!!

These people supposedly are the United restitution group. They claim i owe money on s payday loan. There are allegations against me. Etc etc. I ask who they are? Who do you represent? What city,state,town are you calling from. They wont answer that Question. These calls have been going on for a year now. Different numbers every time. They need to be stopped, shut down & PROSECUTED. ALL CALLS MUST STOP NOW. WHY CANT THEY BE SHUT DOWN? ? THESE SOUL LESS HEARTLESS PEOPLE NEED TO GET A CLUE,GET A FRIGGING LIFE. THEY ARE TRYING TO RIP PEOPLE OFF. AND SOME PEOPLE UNFORTUNATELY FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

They just called and asked for my husband . I asked to take a message and they said they would rather talk to him. TOld them I would have him call back when he can which was a white lie cause I had a feeling this was a scam of some sorts.uSually I don't pick up phone unless I recognize number... LAdy said her name is Abby.

Had a person been calling me for a few weeks saying the same thing. Would not send or email anything it would be sent when payments were set up sounds like a scam

They did, scared me to death. I called Mills County Court and they said nothing was even there. I have not done anything. I am going after them.

These people have some kind of allegations or complaints about me. But they refused to give me any information regarding these allegations. They called my work, then my cell phone. I looked up the phone number. They are a scam! ! I WANT THESE CALLS TO STOP. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO OFTEN. STOP ALL CALLS PLEASE. What can I go?

Just received a call on my cell phone from these people representing Nebraska and claiming 2 allegations against me... WTH! And how can they call on my cell... Let them call on work phone!!!!! SCAMMERS

I got the same one....I actually called the county clerk because they said that is who filed against me...and they had me report it to an investigator.

I have just gotten this call on my cell phone and at my old work number and they are threatening prosecution - I work for a law office so my employers ignore them because we all know it is a scam but some people may not be so lucky - these people call two and three times a day - it needs to stop

Im not sure who there. They called my work first. Then called my cell phone. The woman was pushy and rude. Before she hung up on. She said something about allegations or complaints. Im not sure what it is. I have had the calls before. I know its a scam call. I will report this number
