Im tired of the lead companys not screening there buyers, really the same number has been calling me for over 3 mths..I have added it to my contacts list on my phone as scam so that I know it is them. They always want something different each time they call..they have my ss# and address so I guess if they really want me they can come to my door. Lead companys should have to do a little more work for there money instead of just selling to anyone. If you buy leads to harrase and scam then you are a peace of work but as for the lead companys there should be some regulations put in place! I am a networker and I dont buy leads form even the top companys anymore because they just feed the wrong with the wrong. Pesh

Been receiving up to 3 calls a day from this number. Answered the phone today, it took a while for a response but a male voice said it was from the "AUTO GROUP" and they were having a sale in my area. I put the phone down and let it sit for a few minutes. Now I'm getting hang up calls from the number.

I get a call from this number maybe 1-3 times a month. It has the sound of a ship's fog horn, followed by, "This is your captain speaking..." That's where I hang up. Today, I called the number back as suggested by one of the above complainants, got through immediately to a recording that offered an opt-out by pressing "1." We'll see.

I understand that sometimes pressing any number serves to confirm that the calls are going to real people, thus refining the call list in order to increase its value as a telemarketing tool. My office phone has an always-blocked outgoing call setting, so the number must have been gotten randomly. Here's the catch: How did they know my number so that the opt-out actually was accepted and took effect? We'll see.

Here's another facet. My number is a government inside number used only for specific purposes. I have the option of notifying our State Bureau of Investigation to report abuse (either way).

CALLS EVERYDAY AT MY WORK NUMBER, LINE IS DISCONNETED AFTER I ANSWER THE PHONE.
HAVE BEEN JUST LETTING IT GO TO VOICEMAIL AND THEYNEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE.
