I just received the same automated phone message as is being reported from 509-288-4624. Apparently, the scammer doesn't distinguish between mobile phones and land lines as the call was placed to my land line. The message I heard was only partial due to the outgoing message on my voicemail. But this call, just as other numbers I do not recognize, will be blocked.

Just happened to me….thank god my daughters a lawyer, and assured me that the IRS would never leave a automative voice mail.

They have called both my house and cell phone. It's the same message that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me for nonpayment. I have blocked their calls.

I called back and asked why they were trying to scam me. After a few moments of trying to tell me it wasn't a scam, the guy admitted it was a scam and laughed nervously telling me they were people too and it's a business to make more money. Very odd conversation ending with the guy saying he would like to continue talking to me so I hung up.

I to just got a call from this number with the same message about the IRS filing a law suit against me. Unfortunately, my wife heard it on the answering machine and it scared the heck out of her. I will be reporting this to the IRS in the morning on their Scam website. Recommend all others do the same.

Received the same IRS scam voice mail. I called back to inform them I would filing a complaint with the FCC against them. The rep then became vulgar. These are horrible people and I hope someday they are all prosecuted. Sick sick people.

Called and left message saying they were from the IRS and that it was urgent that I call. I know it was a scam since I have heard of this before. Plus IRS does not handle matters this way. I called back and asked to get more info on what they called me about wanted to see what they tried ti say and trick me on. They just hung up. Please do not fall for their scam. They are jerks.

Holy smokes IRS suing me? NOT! I knew it was a scam and did not bother to call the 509-288-4624 but I know there are folks out there, especially elderly, who will get scared and do what the scammers tell them to do. So sad.

Got a call from a different number to call 509-288-4624 b/c the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. So I tried calling to f*** with them. No one answered. Rats.

Yes they did! 509-288-5624. I called the number. A lady identified herself as being from the i.R.S. I then inquired about my back taxes. She said "Yes" That's when I replied. "Sure! You come over here and I'll kick your ass for free! Don't try to scam me

Recorded msg says it's irs but not irs ignore it and delete. Irs will never call you with msg like this. They only use mail at first.
