I got the same call few minutes ago too. on my cell# I did call # back first time no answer then called from work # he did answer said his name was Gary Yound Badge# 670699 and that I was being sued by IRS I said for what he said back tax audit from 2008-20012 He did give me his name as Gary Young Badge# 670699 Called PD said it was scam.

I received a voicemail on my home phone that this was the IRS and that we were going to be sued by IRS and that we needed to call this phone number. I called the number back but they didn't answer. Scam alert .I then called the IRS who told me not to return that call and that it could be a scam because the IRS never called me from his records they usually send letters.

Yes, they just called me about a suit the IRS has against me. They did not give me a name. They said an audit was performed on my returns for 2008-2011.And since I never responded, I was being sued by the IRS. I told them it was not the practice of the IRS to call about these issues. They were going to send me the documents and they mentioned an address which was not mine and I told them. Then they hung up.
So, I immediately thought is was a scam, but you never know. While googling the number, I found out.
