Received a call yesterday and this morning. Called the number back and the guy tells me I owe over 4k. Couldn't tell me what year and couldn't tell me my annual income from my taxes. Needless to say he got cursed out. No more calls.

Just called back this guy for over 30 minutes back to back and he answered every time... Got into a yelling and cussing match and it proved my immaturity... Just block the number the guy is a tool and will just continue to call back... I got several 1911 calls after and it was him not the robot scam telling me he will annoy me now

I just had an amazing experience with this! I kept calling the 509 number listed below, and asking them about the money I owed the IRS, and what I did wrong on my return. I kept asking for verification of my employers, and what years I owed for. I was sitting watching AFV anyway, which really doesn't need sound. I would keep talking until they hung up. Finally, on my forth or fifth call, she started telling me how I didn't owe money. They were mistaken. So I started asking her, "Do you know how ashamed your parents would be? Stealing from elderly Americans and little old ladies who already needed food stamps just to make ends meet? Do you know how angry this makes God? How it shames Shiva? How your ancestors are ashamed of you now? How your children would feel knowing you were stealing for a living?". She started crying. She apologized, and started telling me about her family, her mother in the hospital, the difficulties feeding her family there, and how she had no choice because there were no other jobs. She asked me to pray for her. I promised her that I would start a prayer chain. So please, if you get a chance, pray for these women in this call center who are being forced to steal from the elderly, the poor, the gullible, the widowed, just to make a living. Better still, if you have a minute, call the number, (509)383-4527, give them my name, and tell them you are calling to pray with them. Seriously. If nothing else, every minute you keep them on the phone, is a minute they are not scamming someone's scared grandmother with the threat of imprisonment if they do not pay. Please, SHARE this. It is not a funny meme. It is not a political complaint. It is asking people to call that number, and fill it with people praying for the one's who are forced to work in the call center. Do it for the people being scammed. Do it for me. Do it for the Lord. Please In the name of Jesus Christ, Shiva, Mohammed, Carl Sagan, and any other name that would motivate you to interrupt this call center, if just for 5 minutes. Please. Keep calling until the center is loosing money trying to stay open. Pray for the women. Better still, call, and pray WITH these women. Thank you.

Total Ripoff! Very clever -- they call themselves Internal Revenue Services, with an 's'. Doesn't exist of course. These bastards should be in jail.

They called my 75 year old mother and told her that there was a lawsuit against her and she needed to call back immediately. Luckily her VM comes to my phone as she has had several strokes so when I called them back dude answered saying IRS and when I told them who I was and why I was calling his punk --- hung up.

Just received this call. Went online to check it out. It sounded phoney. A woman's voice advised me that "the IRS is bringing suit against you. You need to call immediately" and then gave this number. As a senior citizen living on Social Security who doesn't have enough income to pay taxes, I knew it was a bunch of crap.

My 81 year old mom got a call. Best part is they injected her last name into the caller id so she answered, then hung up. I called the number and and Roy asked for my mom info. Instead I asked him detailed questions about what dept he was in etc and told me he would see my mom in court. Classic.

does the IRS or FBI ever go after these people? I thing most people understand it is a scam. But the few that believe everything will be devastated by this type of con.

Called my cell phone too. It's a scam for sure. The IRS wouldn't be calling you if you owed them money... You would be contacted in writing - and they would send by notice by certified mail to ensure you received it...
