It's a scam they called me and left me the same measage...lawsuit from irs...irs will always send you paperwork by mail..

I just got a call from number 509-588-7314, caller ID shows Benton City WA. They claim to be from IRS saying there is a law suit against me and they are sending cops to arrest me within 45 minutes!!! I was very suspicious from the beginning but wanted to see how far they are going to go with getting personal information from me. They had my name and address. Thanks to the posts I found out it's a scam.

Just got the same threatening recorded message call this morning. Said Final Notice. blah blah.

I recd the same call this morning. I am in a chapter 13 bancruptcy and I told him that and he said it didn't matter...I then hung up and call my bancruptcy attorney and they said this was a spoof call. The IRS knows Im in a chapter 13 and making payments on my back taxes. So whoever this number is, this is obviously a scam.

Called me and claimed to be IRS and would come after me if I didn't call back.
