Recieved a call, nobody said any thing, then hung up. I hit redial and an Agent Jordan answered. He claimed he was in Benton, Washington DC, 111 Constitution Av. He wanted my daughter, I told him she did not live here, then he TOLD ME my name and said a lawsuit was filed against me.
I knew it was a scam and went a few rounds with him, I raised my voice and he started yelling and cussing at me, then hung up.
My daughter was really here and called the number back, and all he would say to her was: Are you married, do you have a boyfriend, are you a virgin. When she continued to ask about the lawsuit, he became angry and told her that he was coming to our house this week end, that we wouldn't see him but he would see us. My daughter said we were recording him and from that point on he would not talk and she hung up.
A lot of what was said I can't even include. He was very vulgar.

Same as all the other posters have mentioned - automated call indicating the IRS will sue me and to return the call at 509-588-7382. I called it back, and some dude with a very heavy middle eastern accent answered saying "hello, IRS". I asked what branch of the IRS he was calling from, and he quickly said "111 Washington Ave in Washington DC". That doesn't exist. So stupid and complete waste of time.

I received the same call. First an automated call in a weird computer-like voice that said I was being sued by the IRS and needed to call 509-588-7382. So I did, and I got a busy signal. I called again and a male with heavy Middle Eastern accent answered with just "hello". I knew it was a scam at that point, but figured I would try and get info. So I asked what the IRS was suing me for. He first wanted to know if I was calling from my home or cell phone. I said home, and then he called me by name and said that I was definitely in trouble and not to hang up because the call was being recorded, and my hanging up would be a confession of guilt. He then insisted that I confirm that I had broken the law and pay the $5896.00 to a "government store" that he would give me the address to. I was to get a receipt for the payment and a representative from his firm would bring me all the legal documents about my tax errors in trade for the receipt. I argued that the IRS doesn't phone people. He said that registered letters had been delivered to my house on 12-7-14, and 1-15-15. He had proof of this because the delivery person had taken a photo of my home with the letter left at my door. I insisted I had not received any letters at my door. He then asked me to verify my address. He quoted my PO box address, which is not my home. I let him think he was right. He kept saying don't hang up. He said I would lose my driver's license and be put in prison. He threatened me with "attorney general", IRS, prison, but said that it was obvious I was a good tax paying citizen and he could make the whole case be dropped if I paid the "government store" the money. He assured me that all the court records would be delivered to me as I handed the receipt to the representative in person tomorrow. I said that I would have my attorney phone him at the number I had just used, so give me my case number so I could notify my lawyer. He became aggressive and shouted not to call a lawyer, he would not speak to my lawyer, I would be in bigger trouble if I hang up or call my lawyer. So I gave him one more chance to give me his name and a case number and then I hung up. I checked my caller ID history and this same number phoned me earlier at 10:30 am and then the automated message hit my number while I was on the phone with someone else around 2 pm, and I picked up. I then phoned this scammer immediately. I hope this info was helpful in catching this thief.

Exactly like me......today! Told me I could not hang up or I would be admitting guilt to Tax fraud and be put in jail. He spoke with strong accent but he understood me perfectly and had comebacks for every argument or question I had. Very sorry that people fall for this type of personal attack. I hope this one gets caught.

An automated voice mail saying the IRS was suing us. I knew it couldn't be right, but my wife called them back anyway. A man with an Indian accent answered but my wife could not understand him. He ultimately hung up on her.

A person from this number and spoke ti my husband demanding that he pay $5000 in owed taxes from 2008-2014. Claimed he had been ignoring the IRS contacts and they were going to take his driver license and turn him in to the local police. I called the number back from a landline and the phone was answered but no one spoke, you could hear people in the background. I called back again later and the phone just rang and rang forever, then hung up.
