I received similar calls, three calls now in two days, 3/14 and 3/15. Automated voice. Says "this is effectively your final notice" that "IRS has filed lawsuit against you." IRS does not use telephone notices, so I know it's a scam.

Also received call from 509 588 7564 saying they were IRS with filing case against me. When I returned the call they wanted me to state my first and last name and phone number.

Agree that this is a fraudulent IRS caller. I received a call and voicemail from an automated system stating the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. I have not been served written notice and a call to "inform me" would be unusual at best. I imagine the "call back" is setup to get my personal information for identity theft purposes.

IRS is filing a lawsuit against you... Yes, I got the same call. 509-588-7564. Thanks for your post from 2 hrs ago...this must be their most current ploy. No IRS troubles for me past or present. Scammers.
