Credit card Services-lower your rate. We have received this type of call frequently, but not from the same number. Sometimes "Credit Card Services shows up on the caller ID, Sometimes it doesn't. The message is almost always the same and indicates that this is the last attempt to reach us to lower our card interest rate.

This supposed "Card Member Services" has nothing to do with your credit card company. Don't give them any information. Their scare tactics about "this is your last warning" are untrue. These idiots don't care if they violate the do-not-call and won't stop unless the FCC is informed, so make sure to visit the National Do Not Call Registry web site to file a complaint, at:

http://donotcall.gov/

PS: The number on your caller ID isn't correct; it's spoofed.

Made it sound like a service message, that this was the "last" message we are going to get, then it sounded like our credit card would be cancelled - sounded ominous. Then when I pressed zero and asked for them not to call me anymore, they hung up loudly - this has happened a few times, and they call about 5 times/day.
