MESSAGE SAID CARD MEMBER SERIVES, WHEN I PRESSED 1 AGENT ASKED FOR MY CREDIT CARD NO. TO LOWER MY INTEREST RATE, WHEN i SAID I DID NOT HAVE IT WITH ME HE HUNG UP. DEFINITELEY A SCAM.

Got the same call and when I presed 1 to find out name of company other than card member services on message got an agent who asked if I had my Visa card with me and what is the number of the card to lower my interest rate. WHAT A SCAM, DON'T BE FOOLED MY THESE SCAM ARTISTS!

Caller: Unknown ID as "California"
My cell phone received the same number call 510-376-7852 Did not leave a message. Since I have friends from the 510 area, I called back and recording "You cannot complete this number with dialing" Means they can call you but you can't call them. Beware!
The call identified as coming from Fremont, CA. Automated message offering to lower my credit card rate, I pressed to get an agent on the line who identified the company name as "Card Member Services". When I advised him that my number is on the National No-Call list he ended the call.
