Received a call from John Anthony in regards to check fraud and bank fraud and that if I failed to send money via money gram I would be arrested and a convicted felon over a payday loan! Call the police immediacy do not give any money out.

Keeps calling my phone about 6 times daily and making threats. Says he is from check fraud unit. His name is John Anthony. Tells me either I or my lawyer need to call him immediately.

I received the same call from this John Anthony person being very rude over my voice mail and demanding he speak to either myself or my attorney. He said i took out a loan in 2012 and charged it to my bank account which i had closed in 2011 and had said if i did not return the call i waived my right to counsel. no loan was taken out and no money was received.

this also happened to me today from this same number with the same messages above.i never wrote checks so i dont see why they will be calling me.
