One claimed to be able to lower my insurance. Another number claimed I had expressed interest in a job.

The recording at the beginning of the call said that according to my DMV records I was overpaying for auto insurance. Press (1) to get this taken care of.

It began by misleading me by saying they were calling on behalf of my government issued driver's license and then stated how i could be overpaying for insurance.

'Obama Home Help' calling to try and rip you off. This is a mortgage modification scam that's been around for about a year.
They call their program HAMP, the real program is called HARP.
Sometimes these calls come from outside the US.
This help is FREE from the REAL program. It can be over $6K from the FAKE one.
Know - dont get ripped off!

Good God! The mortgage spammer is now hiding behind a totally new name. Who would have thought that a Tennis Center would be cold calling you with a mortgage modification scam? I guess that these bastards thought it would be a little more original than their last moronic idea - Obama Home Help... God help us if this is the best a scammer can do. People used to be so original when they lied to your face - now they're so scripted and dull.
The last baboon that called me, I asked them if they were talented then I told them that in order to speak with me that they would have to sing at least the first 3 parts of "Lydia the Tattooed Lady" the same way as Groucho Marx in the 1931 movie 'A Day at the Circus'.
I don't even think the bastard knew what a movie was. Still, it's fun to watch them stutter and fail when you do something that their script can't cover! I told another one that my video phone was displaying a still picture of a naked fat lady - and I wanted to know why the picture wasn't moving? Uuuuhhhh??!? Gotcha - REE-REE!! One day they will legalize the killing of telemarketers and I'll have a few heads to decorate the old manor house with - just for conversation pieces! Oh to dream!
