They have called everyday since March. How do I stop them from calling

Yes received call saying i owed $649.20 for a traffic violation on 9-9-2013 and my license was going to be suspended if I didnt pay right away!! spent several hours on the phone trying to get information for different agencies just to find out it was a scam. I called the police to report the scam.
