I answered and a recording ,that sounds like an actual person, started speaking about a "charity" for the Sheriff's Association (or something). It asked me a question that would have to be answered with yes or no. if you answer a call like this DO NOT ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS!!! They record YOU saying "yes" and then use it as if you actually gave them permission to get your money. Rule of thumb: If you don't recognize the number DO NOT ANSWER. If it's that important THEY CAN LEAVE A MESSAGE. If they don't leave a message then 9 times out of 10 IT'S A SCAM. Any legitimate place that does business with you would leave a message.
